Welcome Back, Pete Yorn

Pete Yorn first appeared on my radar with his 2001 debut album, Musicforthemorningafter.  The songs “For Nancy (Cos it already is)” and “Life on a Chain” were some of my introductions to independent singer/songwriters who were getting attention around the time frame.

Through the years, the tracks “Future Life” and “Blackie’s Dead”, his 2009 duet with Scarlett Johansson, have both featured on my end of year lists.

And so today, when I read that Pete Yorn will be releasing a new album, titled Arranging Time, on March 11.
